Waste Management Contractor Hereford CASE STUDY

Upgrading of raw sewage pumping station

The problem

A raw sewage pumping station in Hereford serving a housing estate.

Pumps failing in pump chamber due to system abuse, rags and debris kept blocking the open vortex pumps. The guide rails were rotten and in danger of breaking. The non return valves were not working as the insides had completely rusted away. Components within control cabinet failing due to age.

The solution

Working in conjunction with our vacuum tanker department our pump engineers carry out the replacement of pumps with chopper pumps, guide rails, non return valves and control panel to be replaced.

The result

A working pump station that will last for many years.
